Very nice "factional" take on the JFK assassination...via Chicago

Very nice "factional" take on the JFK assassination...via Chicago

Author Max Allan Collins is to be commended for pulling together a very well written and entertaining "factional" look at the JFK assassination via the documented aborted attempt on his life that was planned for Chicago a few shorts weeks before 11/22/63 ("faction" is a term used for fiction writers using quite a bit of documented facts to weave their story). I am honored that Max chose to use my work as one of the (many) sources, as well as the heroic tale of former Secret Service agent Abraham Bolden (as "Eben Boldt"). Five stars!

Abraham Bolden- did you know you and your heroic story are woven throughout famous author Max Allen Collins book "Target Lancer"? You are listed as as "Eben Boldt" BUT he credits you by name a couple times (pages 294 and 297). Collins, among many others books, wrote "In The Line of Fire" and "Road to Perdition", to name just a few!

In the first half of the program, Abraham Bolden is welcomed. His impressive career in law enforcement caused President JFK to hand-select Bolden and appoint him to be the first African American presidential Secret Service agent.
Bolden had effectively prevented JFK’s assassination in Chicago and Tampa, but when he planned to step forward to reveal truth about the plots on JFK and Secret Service laxity to the Warren Commission staff, he was arrested when he arrived in Washington. Indeed, felony witnesses that perjured themselves in order to set Bolden up. For over nearly half a century, Abraham Bolden has sought to clear his name.
In the second hour, Vince Palamara, a JFK Secret Service expert, researcher and author comes aboard to discuss his in-depth research, along with the testimonies of over 80 former Secret Service agents, White House aides, family members and others to discover what went wrong with the security detail on the day that John F. Kennedy was assassinated.
Will be a most interesting program.

Abraham Bolden, 1/25/14: "Mark Lane and Vince Palamara were the only researchers that believed in me early in the Kennedy investigation. The quality of Vince's research proved all of my contentions."

Important New Information re: Chicago Office, JFK era

From "Breaking Tecumseh's Curse" by Jan Marie Ritter with former Secret Service agent Bob Ritter (2013)

page 414 Re: the administrative assistant of the Intelligence Division (formerly known as PRS): soon after the Reagan assassination attempt (3/30/81), "She came to me later in the day and said she wanted to 'warn me'...She's been around a long time. She started in the Chicago Field Office and worked there during the JFK assassination [Charlotte Klapkowski? June Marie Terpinas?]. She told me that 'funny things' went on back then and she has the same feeling again...she wouldn't elaborate on that. She did say that SAIC Richards told her to type only an original of my report. No copies were to be made, not even the standard agent's copy. And she was ordered to shred my original handwritten submission! She knew how strange that was. She warned me to look out for myself."
